I merged all of Jan's work into a hg repository based on 0.8.2. The new repository is at:
http://bitbucket.org/skypher/weblocks-new-nav/ Work can continue there. Things to do before we can merge it into - dev: 0. Check whether it compiles (yes, I wanted to get this up right after the merge) 1. Review 2. Sort out what should happen with disabled panes -- I think the functionality is completely replace by Jan's hidden panes, but I'd like to let Ian speak up 3. Sort out failing tests and add basic tests for the new functionality 4. Adapt dynamic pane removal support (Ian?) 5. Port the simple-blog examples and test/fix the other examples I'd like to request help from everyone for (3) and (5). It shouldn't be hard to write basic tests for every component in isolation, and migrating the examples will serve as a good introduction to the nav framework. Thanks for reading and considering.
