Ubuntu is likely the easiest Linux to run on the desktop. I recently installed Weblocks on Gentoo Linux (which I prefer for servers). The clbuild install of weblocks was a snap - I dare say the easiest install of an application server ever. I will install it on my Ubuntu laptop a little later and report back.
