Hi, I'm thinking of abandoning this issue. The modified navigation doesn't work for me. It is probably very very clever and efficient and best practice, but to me it seems as just another level of complexity that I don't understand how to use properly and probably won't for a while too. After over a month of trying to understand this issue, I'm feeling a bit frustrated and desperate and stupid and tired of it, and it seems to me that I'm just wasting my and everyone else's time.
The yield variant menus did work for me (but only one level) and it seems it will have to make do. I have managed to make submenues by using make-navigation in each main menu function, and it is good enoug for now.
