Hi,

 I ran into the same problem today, after update-client and 
update-all-dists. Looks like the problem is is the package fare-utils.

I'm sure this is not the correct solution, but what I did was this:
In the file
~/quicklisp/dists/quicklisp/software/fare-utils-20120703-git/fare-utils.asd
I commented out line number 8 that read
;  :depends-on ((:version :asdf "2.019") :fare-memoization 
#|:lisp-interface-library|#)

Seems to work just fine after that.
