Honestly, I don't know. The problem is that my server is headless
(well, it has a head, but gives too much work, because the KVM is not
USB, and the PS2 -> USB adapter I bought works on every PS2 keyboard
and mouse I tested, expect the KVM, etc etc etc). So, I have to
install xCode remotely, via ssh. What I do is installing the default
xCode, and then the WebObjects package. Maybe if you only install
WebObjects package things will work, but on a server it's usual to
compile stuff in C and so, so I always install the default xCode
installation + webObjects.

Have you installed both the xCode installer *and* the
WebObjects.mpkg installer that comes inside the xCode DMG?
Does anyone else have problems upgrading their OS X 10.4.8
servers to the latest WO? Is there a recommended installation
procedure? I've tried installing both the Xcode 2.4 and 2.4.1
packages, but every time the version of WO stays at 5.2.x. There
are no error messages from the Installer.
Upgrading our developer machines to the latest WO has always
worked. So I guess we could just copy over those /System/Library/
Frameworks/Java*.frameworks.
