Launch System Preferences and set the Screen Saver to never.
If you must do it from the command line, locate a file like this:
~/Library/Preferences/ByHost/
com.apple.screensaver._id_for_current_machine_.plist
Change it to ascii with plutil -convert xml1 _plist_file_name_
Edit the file and change idleTime to 0
Same question for dashboard components, although they seem to be
pretty innocuous.
IIRC, Dashboard widgets should not be launched if you never activate
them.
Just don't activate them!
