I did update it, as I mistakenly screwed up one port.
This should not be necessary in a deployment environment because everything launched using wotaskd will have NEXT_ROOT set automatically. You're only likely to need this if you are running things interactively on the command line.
Yap, I only needed to point it to /apple, because everything went there. But if the port is fixed to place stuff in the /usr/local/ dirs, it's probably not needed any more.
The new version of the port, which adds support for WO 5.4 as well, when I get around to releasing it, is even better.
Nice! One thing I forgot to mention is that the Apache 2.2 Adaptor compiled perfectly. I haven't yet tried using in with an app, but at least the typical "No application found" and stuff like that appears, so I suppose it's working fine. Very very nice, as compiling apache stuff is always an headache.
