Hi!That's weird... did you check your /etc/hosts file? It should contain the typical lines:
127.0.0.1 localhost 255.255.255.255 broadcasthost ::1 localhost fe80::1%lo0 localhostAlso, run ifconfig and check the status of lo0. If for some reason it's down, bring it back up with ifconfig lo0 up. Note that I don't really know if lo0 can be put down and up, but I also never saw a machine not recognizing localhost, so I'm just wild guessing trying to help.
