Hi all,

I'm trying to deploy on a freshly installed machine. 10.4 (client, not server), WO 5.3.3, Java 1.5, same old same old. I've been running same installations in the company LAN for a while now. So, wotaskd is running, I build the app on that machine, deploy it thorough JavaMonitor, which says the app is running. I get the app's startup logs, they show nothing unusual. However, when I try to connect to the app (http://127.0.0.1/cgi-bin/WebObjects/AppName.woa/1 for example) I get a:

Not Found
The requested URL /cgi-bin/WebObjects/AppName.woa/1 was not found on this server...
...

I get the same message if I launch the app from cmd line and try to connect that way. Only direct connect works.

I'm guessing that Apache is not forwarding requests, but am clueless as to why. I compared /Sys/Lib/WebObjects/Adaptors/Apache/apache.conf with the one on one of the machines that deploy OK and it's identical.

Any pointers?

Thx,
F

also, I don't know if this is related or not, but however I launch the app at startup it logs that it is available at "http:// computerName.local/cgi-bin/WebObjects...", instead of using having the machine's IP in... Why would that be happening?
