Hi Ghani
My 2c:
Have you checked if this line is commented in httpd.conf of Apache (That
seemed to be my case last try):
# chng: commented the next line
#ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ "C:/Apache2/cgi-bin/"

Hi SGhani
I am certainly not a WebDeploy Master but do deploy on Windows/Unix in
Tomcat as a war so will give my 2c. We have had problems like you
described below when the framework JavaWOJSPServlet was not included which
includes JavaWOJSPServlet_client.jar containing the WOServletAdaptor.class
required by the app. Similar error occurs if any of the referenced jars
in the web.xml context param WOClasspath are incorrect or missing (check
path structure carefully). You also do not need the license to deploy
correctly. We are using WO 5.3 as well.

Peter Newnam

and all is well. Till now, I've never needed to deal with Windows
deployment, but this is no longer avoidable. So, I tried doing a .war
deployment of my application on Win/Tomcat, but I get the error, Servlet
WOServletAdaptor is not available error. My reading through this mailing
list and others suggest that I don't have an appropriate deployment
license, but that seems odd since my understanding is that WO 5.3.1+ comes
with deployment licenses across all supported platforms, including
Windows. Any ideas on what may be the issue?

Hi
I just deployed what was previously a 5.3 app with the 5.4 frameworks,
now <wo:form> seems to generate an absolute url based on the full
hostname, whereas previously it submitted to a relative url. How do I
turn this behavior off?

Anyone have any idea why I'd get an error when trying to add a new
host in Monitor? I'm trying to add a new host to an existing setup,
and whenever I try to add a new host, I get a
java.lang.NullPointerException error.
The new host is a Mac OS X Server 10.4.11 box, and web objects is
activated, port 1085 is open, etc. But it fails with any host I try
to add, even non reachable ones, in the same fashion.
All other functions in Monitor maintaining existing hosts seem to work
fine.
Any thoughts?
Chris

My best suggestion is to edit the launchd config that runs JavaMonitor
and send the app log to a file so you can get a stack trace on this.
I don't ahve any explanation for why it would throw this exception.
