moved to deploy list now as all dev related issues have been
resolved, but I'm still not getting anywhere and am thinking there's
more I may need to do with tomcat to solve this. Anyway, I added the
declaration to my web.xml using the properties editor in eclipse where
you can add custom web.xml statements. still not working, the freaking
sessions time out after 30 seconds. Anybody else having this issue
with war deployments?

The deployed app doesn't seem to be honoring the normal session
timeout values; they're very short now;-( I came across an old
thread that mentioned it being in the web.xml, but I'm not
connecting what I need to set inside the various properties to
extend this value. Where and what should I be setting? Thanks.
