        /cgi-bin/WebObjects/WOAdaptorInfo?...

I guess it's the queue that has been pre-balanced into each instance.

The setting for "Listen Queue Size" in JavaMonitor are for each instance and doesn't effect the depth of the "Active Requests" queue in the Apache adaptor does it? Is there a means by which one can adjust the maximum depth of the "Active Requests" in the Apache adaptor without effecting other services of the Apache server?

Listen Queue Size is, IIRC, the queue of requests in an WO app waiting for an available worker thread. The Listen Queue Size + the max number of worker threads is the max number of requests that an instance will accept. I am not clear on what you are referring to with "Active Requests". Is that a mod_proxy thing?
