Hi,
I downloaded the installer from the WO Community Website and
installed WebObjects with
this installer (the 5.4 one) on the server. I alos run the configure
Script
I found under /Developer/Examples in the dployment folder of WebObjects.
But: I do not see things linke the WOExtension Framework under
Library/Frameworks and I can neither find
Javamonitor nor does a search reveal that wotaskd is actually on the
machine... it seems to me that
something is missing. I have no Pane or anything in the server admin to
start WebObjects with (as described for Mac OS X 10.6 Server in other
mails)..
I found a readme in the examples Folder which gives instructions how
to get the examples
going, but I did not do that as this is to be deployment machine and
I do not need the examples.
a) Will building the examples as described in the readme in the
examples folder somehow bring me to a full functioning WebObjects
version?
b) If not, what do I miss? What am I to install in addition to the
WebObjects 5.4 Installer from the community
Website?
Sorry - have things changed so much? This is not my first deployment...
