I'd guess one of:

1. new bug in Apache
2. mod_webobjects is not compatible with Apache 2.2.14 on Leopard
3. hardware problem

I am using 2.2.14 on Snow Leopard without issue and with the mod_webobjects from
http://webobjects.mdimension.com/wonder/mod_WebObjects/Apache2.2/macosx/
