I'd still consider it possible that there is a bug in the adaptor or that it was built incorrectly. I will guess that few people use this in deployment and that those that do have a lower request load. 100 errors out of 50,000 requests does make it sound like a concurrency bug in the adaptor, especially with that partial response string in the adaptor log.
