is this something new ? i.e. has it just stopped working when it's been working for some time before ?
i sometimes see a slow response to requests to shut down an instance (running on amazon linux in ec2) but they never hang (unless they are deadlocked. but we don't do deadlocks. honest. chuck will vouch for the fact that he's never helped me debug a deadlock.....) but i don't ever see slow (or non responsive) requests to anything else... simon _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
