The university's got back to me and said they can't actually offer the
Solaris solution, so are leaving me with the choice of Windows or
Linux.

I'm just asking them about what Linux stuff they're offering (i.e. is
it a VPS or is it an account on a shared machine). I've also asked
about the possibility of installing wotaskd/monitor, so I guess I'll
see what they say.

Does anyone know the state of deployment on Windows with IIS? I'm not
particularly favouring it, but at the university it's free as opposed
to £200/year for linux, so the department in question might ask me
about it.

Thanks,

Amy
