Thnx for the reply

Then why is WO still available in the Apple Store,
and most of all why is it even more expensive then OSX Tiger Server (10 users)?

Is the licensecost something that is included in the prices for hosting with (Xserver)providers? I don't have WO or OSX server yet and wanna now for sure the cheapest sollution to get my WOA hosted on the internet.

Jan.

Hi!

As far as we can understand (there's still some discussion about this on this list, but for me is clearly stated on the licence), 5.3.1 is free, both the development and the deployment versions. So, if you are working with 5.3.1, you don't even need to buy OS X Server.

On 5.3 and previous, you needed to buy OS X Server, that already included a deploy licence (I know it's strange, but it's a strange world we live in).

I'll buy OSX Tiger Server to be able to test everything about deployment. Do I need to buy an extra WO-license if I wanna host my application with a hosting provider.

Seems weird because WO is more expensive then OSX Tiger Server itself wich contains WO.
