The rule is (and was) configured this way.


A call to EOeditingContext.processRecentChanges() will trigger the actual processing of such delete rules. 

I tried that to no avail.

I think Xavier (Dev WO) accurately diagnosed the situation in a previous email. It's just not the behavior I was expecting.
