| I'm blanking on this one. I have what appears to be a perfectly set up eomodel which happily connects to its database from within EOModeler, fetches data, all that good stuff. When I drag that *identical* eomodel into an app and try to fetch through a display group I get the "failed to open database" exception, as in ... [2006-05-18 11:19:40 PDT] <main> Waiting for requests... [2006-05-18 11:19:45 PDT] <WorkerThread0> com.webobjects.foundation.NSForwardException for com.webobjects.foundation.NSForwardException for java.lang.IllegalStateException: _obtainOpenChannel -- com.webobjects.eoaccess.EODatabaseContext [EMAIL PROTECTED]: failed to open database channel. Check your connection dictionary, and ensure your database is correctly configured. ... etc ... Something silly here no doubt, but I don't see it. And I've duplicated the problem with more than one model that is working in other applications. Any ideas? Thanks, |
