Thanks for the response Alexander, though I'm specifically looking for what case causes EOModeler to DISABLE these options. If you go into the inspector in EOModeler, under certain cases, one or the other of those checkboxes is grayed out. I'm sure if I thought about this for a bit it would make sense, but I was hoping someone knew offhand what triggers that.

Propagates Primary Key: the target of the relationship is (part of) a primary key that is not generated but just a copy of the source primary key. (eg. m:n, 1:1)

Owns Destination: if the target is removed from this relationship and not reinserted into another (and therefore is unreacheable), it will be automagically deleted on saveChanges - without a need to explicitly call deleteObject.
