On Mac. I've actually managed to connect to Informix using SQLGrinder but it still doesn't show any of the tables/views. When I try to do a select it tells me that the database has not been selected.
Here is my connection string: jdbc:informix-sqli://ip:port:informixserver=servername This is a custom JDBC URL because otherwise there is no place to put in the informixserver variable. And now, as you can see, there is no place for the databasename variable. Do you know how to correct this? BTW - EOModeler, doesn't connect and says "an error occurred". Great. Thanks.
