Here is a guess .....

If content of MyAppComponent is causing the problem, then check by temporarily surrounding most or all of the body content with a WOConditional bound to "false" and see it the page renders without error. If it does work, then try and narrow down what part of the page is problematic using temporary conditionals to turn off parts of the page until you isolate the problematic part.

Perhaps some binding (class Object) is being synchronized and a subcomponent is trying to make an invalid cast to something that it isn't.

A method of ours somewhere was throwing an IllegalStateException (without being wrapped in an NSForwardException) and perhaps this was being caught somewhere and returned as something other than an NSDictionary.

It took a number of hours to track this down... taking things bit by bit. :-/
