I think Chuck had a very good point about alternatives. It seems to me like it's time to find a better way to do client-side applications than to build more JC applications. If we want Swing user interfaces, IB is NOT the way to do it IMHO.
As I've mentioned last week, I am doing Cocoa interfaces to WOA's using my own JSON-RPC technology -- I actually have a J2SE client- side for this as well. Other people are using SOAP etc... I know the architecture doesn't correlate with the D2* approach "out of the box", but could this RPC approach fit your needs?
