Hi Pascal,

Thanks for the tip, but it didn't fix things for me. However, I have got myself straight again now. Here's what i did:

I upgraded to Eclipse 3.3 and the nightly WOLips build. In the first instance that didn't help (in fact, it got worse - i had over a 1000 errors immediately after the upgrade - all html & wod stuff), so i deleted all my projects and checked them back out from subversion which again did nothing. However, I've narrowed down the source of the problem to the WOLips > Wod Editor Preferences > Validate WOD / Inline Bindings option, and the validate Ognl option. With those turned off and another fresh check-out from subversion, everything is back to normal.

However, i think there is a bug in there somewhere. If i switch the validate options back on i see errors everywhere again. But when I turn it off the errors stay. Reboot eclipse / clean everything = no change. There is a workaround: if i open each affected component (by double clicking the .wo - not the error, which only opens the affected file rather than the whole .wo) the errors vanish. It's as if the errors are only refreshed when the component is opened.

I think that is correct. The validation is rather expensive so it is only done on certain triggers. I think Mike mentioned maybe adding a "validate all now" function. But with a new iPhone and a real job I would not hold my breath. You could phone him and ask... :-)

Close the project (or restart Eclipse) to see if the errors and warnings goes away. I had a older version of ERExtensions that I replaced with a current one when Eclipse was opened and I had to close the project so that Eclipse can see the new version. I guess you have a similar problem.

Hi All -

I'm having a few problems with WOLips today. I'm running Eclipse 3.2.2 with WOLips 2.0.0.4118.

In my problems panel I have 1 error listed: "<webobject> close tag is not found." - but when I open the component there are no markers and seemingly nothing wrong with the component.

I also have about a dozen warnings relating to a model ("organisation is optional but ..... id_organisation does not allow nulls"), all of which I have fixed but the warnings won't go away.

I've switched off all the options (Validate WOD etc) in the Eclipse preferences, but no change. Any ideas how to fix it ?

Thanks, Simon
