My problem is simply that ERJavaMail is not reading my Properties
file in Application.
I am pretty sure that is now the problem.
Since we reboot our servers every night, I now have put a
notification system that
will alert customers if something is late, a status change, etc.
However, in the Application contstructor I have my routine to send
out the emails.
It gives me an error which states that I have it set to test..
[EMAIL PROTECTED] etc...
This means it didn't yet read my properties file. However once I log
into my app
the emails are being sent properly... It seems to correct itself
which to me means
that in Application() it hasn't yet read the properties file.
So any suggestion on where it should go?
Thanks
James

Hello --
I just upgraded my framework and now am having problems with
ERJavaMail reading the correct properties file.
Whitch problems?
Maybe this is because
I am now sending email in Application ?
So, what did you do before, and how did you change you Application
When or where does the Properties file get read in WebObjects
I'm not sure about that, but it should be after calling
Application.main(), before calling the constructor for Application
Thanks
