Thank you for your replies friends!!

Actually it is a project freshly checked out from repository which is running on other's machine properly. So the internal project error is unlikely to happen (I even checked the functions / recursions and DB access). How ever the case of adding these parameter in proper place is possible, Actually I am running a script to run the application which is not very clear to me

it is
#!/bin/sh
cd <application path>/build/Development/ <PROJECT NAME>.woa
./<PROJECT NAME> -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true - WOApplicationBaseURL / -WOApplicationName <PROJECT NAME> -WOPort 8500 -WOAutoOpenInBrowser NO -WOCachingEnabled NO -WODebuggingEnabled YES - Xms125m -Xmx1024m -EOAdaptorDebugEnabled NO -WOLifebeatEnabled NO - WOMonitorEnabled NO -WOInstanceNumber 1 -WOAllowRapidTurnaround NO

Do I have to add it to some other place to give it to VM?
Waiting for your reply.

Thanks and Regards,
Kirti

In other words, it should go into VM Arguments, not Program Arguments.

4) You are adding these parameters in the wrong place and they are not having any effect.

1GB is a lot of memory. Most times you should be good with 512m or even 256m. There's three things I could think of:

1) You're reading a BLOB from the database that is REALLY BIG.
2) You have a loop that isn't ending and it just keeps creating objects over and over and over. 3) You have a recursive function that isn't ending and so it keeps calling itself over and over.

Thank you for your reply John.

I'v already given "-Xms125m -Xmx256m" these parameters while running, even tried giving 1024m. Still there is same error.

Pass this flag to the java process that is launching the application

-Xmx256M

This sets the maximum memory size to 256 meg. You can choose any value
though.

I am new to WebObjects, I am trying to run existing applications
but is throwing the error
"com.webobjects.foundation.NSForwardException for
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space"

From the error message I can understand that it is going out of
memory, I tried giving 1024 of memory but could not help. Moreover almost all the applications (not all as I am able to run HelloWorld
successfully ) is throwing same error so I think this it is not
Application specific.

How could I solve it? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
