Ok, I have here a brand new mac mini with Mac OS X 10.4.10 preinstalled and WO 5.3.2 via Xcode.

I have several deployment systems all under Java 1.4.x.

On my new development machine I have Java 1.5 as the default.

I need to get my development environment changed thus that I can deploy under Java 1.4.

OR you can simply set the javac 'target' and 'source' to 1.4.

I work with Xcode.

In Xcode, you can set this by setting the current target to Application Server, open the current build target and adjust the settings under Java Compiler Settings accordingly for the appropriate configurations (see top popup).

Question1:
Can someone please confirm that Java 1.4 is still available on a Mac OS X 10.4.10 with Java 1.5 as default?

I believe so.

Question2:
I found a technote from Apple how to change the development Environment back to Java 1.4 for WO in Development and Deployment. Tried both, no luck! Still get the major.minor error on deployment system.

See above.

Question 3:
Is WO 5.3.2+ qualified with Java 1.5? I did miss that info, but the technote seems to imply it.

1.5 works well.

Can anyone point me to a way to change the default Java form 1.5 back to 1.4 in development?

/Application/Utilities/Java/Java2SE 5.0/Java Preferences should help.

with regards,
