Oh -- So this is a change that needs to be make to the wolips startup script template? I'm actually not sure who CALLS that command, but it's definitely not working for me ... Oh wait .. I'm running 5.3 on Leopard, so if I run 5.3, then it's trying to call WOLaunchURL, isn't it.

WO 5.4 uses the native 'open' command now. WOLaunchURL wasn't doing anything special.

I noticed this also just yesterday ... I'm not sure why this disappeared in 5.4.

Hi all,

I followed the instructions in Mike's most excellent "The Official What-I-Did-To-Run-5.3-On-Leopard Post" to get my WO 53 apps running on Leopard. Thanks Mike! I had to correct the permissions on /Library/WebObjects/Configuration/ - thanks to Art for the logs to make that easy to find.

It looks like /System/Library/WebObjects/Executables/WOLaunchURL is missing from the WO54 install (maybe it's not needed, I haven't checked) but it means that auto-open in browser fails with WO53.

I copied mine from my Tiger snapshot and it's all good.
