This has bit me soooo many times. I've taken to finishing up any Manual SQL sessions with "DELETE FROM EO_PK_TABLE" just to be sure.

Why does EOF throw an exception ? Why doesn't it just say, "hey, somethings not write here, i'll do a MAX() and sort myself out" ?

If you drop all rows from the PK table it manages to fix itself so it seems a bit odd that it bails out in other situations.
