Unless I misunderstand you there are 6 companies that make Type 4
drivers for Microsoft access:
BroadbandCommunications Solutions corp.
Abacus Technologies
JNetDirect
Connx
Some of these require a server component, not unlike the JDBC/ODBC
bridge.
The following is a pure java type 4 driver for MS Access:

How can you use Access from WO ? AFAIK, there is no JDBC Type IV
driver for it.
