It looks like you're responding to EOGlobalIDChangedNotification and
then doing other database operations? Can you explain a bit about
what exactly you're doing?
After talking with Chuck, I'm realizing that this might be totally
internal to EOF and I'm just seeing EOF call the methods of your
objects ... Are there delete rules firing as part of this update?
