Hello Michael;
Although technically it would still be possible to develop WebObjects
applications with X-Code, the majority of people are now using Eclipse
together with the wonderful "wolips" tools that are being developed by
people in the community. In general, if you are developing java
software on your mac, I would suggest using Eclipse and not X-Code.
cheers.
So what exactly is the state of web application development on OS X?
I'm a J2SE developer coming from the standard tomcat world, using
JDeveloper IDE. Thought I would switch to native stuff on the Mac,
but looks like Xcode doesn't directly provide support for standard
web app configs, spring, etc...
