I'm thinking about using some versioning system.
Trying to decide whether I do need one and if yes - which one.
Oh my god ... Without question, yes.
I've heard something about CVS and Subversion. Maybe there is some
other...
CVS = built-in support in Eclipse
Subversion = better than CVS and nearly comparable integration with
Eclipse via 3rd party plugins (Subversive)
There are many others, with varying benefits, but when in doubt,
choose Subversion.
But this approach has disadvantages...
There is NO reason to avoid a version control system. There are ONLY
disadvantages. Even if you are a single developer you should be using
version control. No question. Period.
