But what if you have to migrate from a PPC deployment to an Intel
deployment? Isn't this the only valid way to migrate correctly; or are
we missing something? Thanks.

read back in this thread (actually guido pointed it out before i did
i noticed) about restrictions on restoring ... and I will reiterate
that FrontBase does not recommend this method as a valid backup/
restore procedure -- you still need to do "write backup". I just
"write all output" for testing and as a backup backup.
