Hi Mersida,

The answer (http://lists.apple.com/archives/webobjects-dev/2008/Jul/msg00691.html ) really hasn't changed in the last two weeks since you asked last time.

If you have specific things you don't like or you think are missing it is always possible that those things may be able to be changed or added, but just stating it's "horrible" isn't going to get you anywhere.

WOLips' Component Editor _IS_ the replacement for WOBuilder. There's nothing else beyond any plain-old text editor. Take the time and effort looking for a different tool and put it into providing the WOLips development team with specific feature requests to improve the tool we have.

I've found the WOLips development team to be very responsive to specific requests that are well-thought-out and clearly explained.

I hated Component Editor for the first week when I switched. Now I can't imagine going back to WOBuilder. Inline Tags, Code completion, Refactoring, etc are huge. And if you are doing CSS-based design, WOBuilder couldn't deal with it anyway.

Hi all,

My coworkers and I are wondering what everybody is using as a substitute for WOBuilder now that it is gone in WO 5.4. The graphical configuration within eclipse, we find, its horrible...anyone got anything else they're using, freeware or not?

Your responses are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mersida
