Just come back from some holidays -- and, after attempting to upgrade Wonder and WO (5.3.3 to 5.4.x) I'm getting this exact problem.

Thanks for the clue.

Btw Mike - would it be worth adding a button/option to the modeler to regenerate the plist(s)?

As a followup on my problem (for posterity)

I stripped all of the className declarations where there was a specified prototypeName from the concerned plist and all is fine.

Thanks for the clue.

They are models that I routinely edit, My last edit was about 1 week ago and it worked without problems. What triggered those explicit className field to appear ? As I said earlier. I updated Wonder last night and I assume the stricter checking is recent.
Yes, Wonder explicitly checks for these now, because they can cause really strange problems ... When did you last update wolips?

Wolips 3.4.5594. Yes I'm using nightly.

Are you on nightly? Is it possible to compare this to your version control and see how long they've been there?

I'm using svn. I'm not too sure how to go about this. I suppose, I need to do spot checks at past dates. I'll investigate if it can be useful.

Well, I dug back through all of my commits and it appears to have happened 2008-12-31 when I updated nightly after a long time not upgrading.

Following you message, I decided to update wolips to 3.4.5596 and got the following message
An error occurred while collecting items to be installed
No repository found containing: org.objectstyle.wolips/osgi.bundle/ 3.4.5596 No repository found containing: org.objectstyle.wolips.ant/ osgi.bundle/3.4.5596 No repository found containing: org.objectstyle.wolips.apieditor/ osgi.bundle/3.4.559

The update still won't happen on my system but works well on another system. Looks like it's time for another eclipse re-install ....
