Okay, so that works great...but now I get these warnings in my log:
Feb 19 10:41:04 [4700] INFO NSLog - invokeAction: An non stored response return context.page(), which will result in suboptimal performance. Feb 19 10:41:04 [4700] INFO NSLog - ERXAjaxApplication.invokeAction: An Ajax response returned context.page(), which is almost certainly an error.
... so #2 can probably be removed, since I think it's established it's not really true, which the exception that what you told it to do is not EXACTLY what it's going to do (you returned page, but it's going to refresh that one component, but the overall intent is the same).

#1 i don't even know who's saying it or what it even means ... probably me from 3 years ago has a great explanation for that. I'd have to look into it.
