Make God hears you.. I know Im new to WO and all, but I have become more fond to it than any other web technology, i.e J2EE, and it will hurt me a lot, if something like "Disappearing" will happen, and I think im not the only one feeling this.

Long life WO. :P

It would be handy for me if someone at Apple could confirm that.

Mike,

Not to be harsh, but you are not going to get that. Apple is not going to make any kind of public statement about WebObjects NOT being deprecated.

If Apple had depreciated WO they would have issued a statement to that effect. They haven't.

Well putting in the 10.6 Server manual that WO is no more supported is not encouraging either.

Certainly Apple could have handled the change in a way that made us feel more comfortable. But making public statements about their plans for WO has not been a priority for many years now. I feel confident that WO will continue to be publicly available and will grow ever more capable in the coming years.

My big worry is who's going to fix it if it needs a security update.

Apple. Just like always. Not having it installed by default is not the same as it being discontinued or deprecated.
