Hi Chuck,

I followed your advise, thank you very much for this. As some times is the case, I have ran in to more problems. After setting the Path environment variable the below was shown in Terminal...

[r...@srv1 Hallo.woa]# PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/java/bin
[r...@srv1 Hallo.woa]# export PATH
[r...@srv1 Hallo.woa]# ./Hallo WOPort 51000&

That should be
./Hallo -WOPort 51000&

First, try the simplest form:

./Hallo

Get that working, then add the extra bits.

Chuck

Hi,

I have a problem running webobjects applications on a CentOS server (My website). Everything seems to be configured according to this http://wiki.objectstyle.org/confluence/display/WO/Installing+WO+5.3+or+WO+5.4+on+Linux Wiki.

When I try to start the application I get this:

[r...@srv1 JavaApplications]# Hallo.woa/Hallo _WOPort 56789 &

That should be
cd Hallo.woa
./Hallo _WOPort 56789 &

And it is WOPort NOT _WOPort.

And port 56789 is probably in use by JavaMonitor

But that is not your problem... yet.

As others have pointed out, the java executable is not on the path.
