I'm fond of JRebel too, although if it threw a tantrum at the supermarket I'd probably leave it there ;)
I've had memory issues at launch time with some projects that have multiple custom framework dependencies and I can't seem to provide the right JVM args to please it. But as Q keeps telling me, it's up to me to file a bug report and get it sorted. For the projects I use it in it's definitely a "huge" time saver, especially with support for model changes.
