FWIW,

I created an Ajax framework based on Wonder's that uses MooTools instead of 
Prototype/Scriptaculous and in it there is an Accordion.

The example app is posted here:  http://www.kahalawai.com/KMAjax

If anyone is interested I can send you the sources for the framework and the 
example app.
