Thanks Paul and George for quick response. Your solutions worked well and 
fortunately one of my colleague told me the WORequestAdditions class which 
contains a method called "originatingIPAddress(...) and I had that class in my 
classpath so I used.

The class is under com.apress.practicalwo.practicalutilities package.

WORequestAdditions.originatingIPAddress(request);
