Bingo. I believe ERXAjaxContext does not extend ERXWOContext, but WOContext. It 
therefore doesn't use url rewriting afaik...

You would need to subclass it to add url rewriting to it.

I don't know what problems, if any, that would present. Perhaps Mike knows?
