Hey Johnny, I won't go into too much detail here, since this is what I'll be talking about at WOWODC.
It is a platform. The app is fully skinnable and backed by an ERRest webservice that delivers both the content and look. We wrote it for our client and they will be using it to publish apps for their clients (the artists).
