You'll have to ask them directly, but they advise Node.js as the server side framework, sounds promising as you can for example move parts of code client side or server side... (JavaClient anyone ?) Looks like they have worked mainly on the component stuff and not on the persistence layer, there's some code : https://github.com/Motorola-Mobility/montage/tree/master/data but not samples using it.
