Hi Miguel,

Sorry if it's a bit late but I can give you some piece of code. Not rocket 
science but maybe you won't lose time on this part.

What we do:
- reusable login panel + loginHelper
- used in D2W and non D2W apps
- of course no session until the user is authenticated
- handle SSL in deployment, no SSL in development
- the component used after user successfully logged in set by the application 
(that way a D2W page can be displayed or any other component).
