Hi Klaus, I remember that I once had trouble with ERCaptcha on a Linux deployment machine. I think I was because ERCaptcha somehow uses AWT internally and the Java process tried to connect to a Windowserver (which wasn't running).
The solution was to start the app with '-Djava.awt.headless=true' in Monitor or
setting the property in the Application constructor with
'System.setProperty("java.awt.headless", "true");'
Anyway, this shouldn't happen during development on OS X, since AWT is there
for your Java process.

P.S.: I suppose you set the captcha's "validated" binding to a boolean?
