When Jenkins finishes a build of, we write the build date, current branch and 
commit hash to a file in the woa’s resources folder. In our world of continuous 
deployment, "versions” don’t really play a large role anymore (except when it 
comes to libraries and declaring dependencies).

Anything in particular you hope to accomplish?
