I've used ERPDFWrapper to create really simple reports quickly, in situations where there was no business case for doing anything more complex/better looking. Despite the lack of documentation, its insistence on XHTML and issues with extraneous whitespace, and being based on a fairly ancient PDF library, the output is usually acceptable considering the amount of effort you need to put in. > It kind of looks as though if I have a XML doc to write out to PDF and > I am not trying to do much with the layout or to change the appearance, > I can use ERPDFWrapper. I've been able to make some semi-decent looking reports with minimal effort. > Or maybe ERPDFWrapper is more amazing than I can see. Is it? For what? No, I don't think it is. You've about covered it. For me it's a reasonable solution in cases where there's no budget to do anything better. Elsewhere, for example, I've used XSL-FO to give complete control over page layouts, but that kind of thing takes a lot more time, and a good FO processor is not cheap if FOP doesn't cut it for your needs. -- Paul Hoadley http://logicsquad.net/ _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
